Straightforward to manage

How payment works

Designed to be easy for busy parents — pay as you go, with plenty of notice on either side.

1

Start free

Your child's first session is free. You only decide whether to carry on once you've seen how a lesson goes.

2

Pay per session

After that, you pay for each session at the rate for your child's subject — no blocks to buy upfront and no contract.

3

Reschedule when needed

If something comes up, message me ahead of the lesson and we'll move it to another slot that works.

Good to know

Pricing questions

The things parents usually want to clear up before booking.

Is the first session really free?

Yes. The first session is completely free with no commitment. We get to know each other, look at the topics your child finds hardest, and make sure it's a good fit before you book anything further.

Do I pay upfront, or is there a contract?

Neither. You pay per session at the rate for your child's subject, and there are no joining fees, no cancellation fees and no contract. You can book as many or as few sessions as you like.

Why is Further Maths more than the other subjects?

A-Level Further Maths covers more advanced, specialist material on top of the standard A-Level, so it takes more preparation per session. That's reflected in the £40 per hour rate.

Do I need to book a block of sessions?

No. Pricing is a simple flat rate per session, so there's no block to buy upfront. Most families settle into a regular weekly slot, but you're free to book around exams, mocks or holidays as it suits your child.
